There are two 18 Hole Local Golf Club in Kenmare. One beside the Kenmare River and the other is located on the Ring of Kerry - Ring of Kerry Golf & Country Club.
Kenmare Walking Club. Organised walks and festivals. For the moderate walker there are many traditional and marked walking routes. Also an ideal base when walking on the The Beara Way. It is a long distance walking route around the highly spectacular peninsula with a large concentration of historical and archaeological sites en route. Also enjoy hill walking and rock climbing with Beara Outdoor Adventures.
Kenmare’s wildlife cruise. Cruising around the many islands in the bay's sheltered waters and seeing the spectacular mountains, forests, islands and castles is an experience one does not forget. Sailing activities also available.
